We are thrilled to announce that the Urapi Land Use Fund, amounting to $50M, is now fully invested across four transformative projects in Peru, Honduras, and Colombia, all managed by Ecotierra. This marks a significant milestone for our entire business ecosystem, representing years of hard work from conceptualizing a model to executing it. We are proud to see our vision come to life and succeed.
Our projects span an average of 15 years in deployment before achieving full autonomy. Our initial two projects are progressing well, and we have recently launched two more. As we broaden our impact with exciting future projects, we continue to work closely with current ones to ensure smooth deplloyment. Here’s an overview of our projects and their current state.
Our projects are:
Funded by: Urapi
Managed by: Ecotierra

Our Projects:
1. Café Selva Norte – Jaén, Northern Peru
Since 2019
CSN Selva Norte, Urapi's first venture, partners with 10 Peruvian cooperatives to improve land use and the coffee value chain. We fund farm renovation, support agroforestry, and operate a state-of-the-art mill, adding value for cooperatives and their members. The CSN Dry Mill has generated strong results by processing large quantities of high-quality coffee. Continuous improvement efforts have led to a 95% increase in smallholder organizations requesting its services, with over 50% processing certified organic coffee.
2. RioSierra – Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Since 2020
The RioSierra project promotes responsible and sustainable practices in key agricultural sectors like coffee, cocoa, and honey production. By prioritizing environmental stewardship, empowering local communities, and fostering economic resilience, RioSierra enhances value chains. The third quarter of 2023 saw the inauguration of its processing plant, including an export coffee preparation mill for batch and micro-batch processing of Parchment, Natural, and "Honey" coffees, alongside a honey processing plant for collecting, filtering, and packaging honey for wholesale.
3. Aroma Café & Miel – Santa Barbara, Intibuca, Comayagua, and El Paraiso, Honduras
Started in 2023
The ACM Project, a collaboration between Urapi and 12 cooperatives in Honduras, has received support from the Canadian NGO Socodevi since 2022. Its primary goal is to strengthen the sustainable development of the coffee and honey value chains. The hiring process is ongoing, and we have acquired and are renovating a dry mill located in Comayagua.
4. Kuska – Cusco, Southern Peru
Started in 2024
Located in the Quillabamba province of Cusco, Kuska has immense growth potential. The project's main objective is to bolster the Central of Agricultural Coffee Cooperatives COCLA's position as a leader in developing sustainable value chains for coffee, cocoa, and honey. Renovations of coffee and cocoa processing facilities and the electricity generation plant, including the installation of state-of-the-art equipment jointly owned by COCLA and Ecotierra, are underway.
